Drumming workshops in the community

Community Groups

Chango Music drumming workshops are an engaging and effective way of encouraging group cohesion, creativity and self-confidence.

With drumming having almost universal appeal, even the most diverse of groups can come together to create and share a totally unique drumming experience.Whatever your reasons for organising a drum circle, we will tailor our approach to help you meet the needs of your group.

In the past 10 years, we have provided thousands of drum circle experiences in different environments and to all ages and abilities and we always tailor our workshops to meet each individual objective.

Read our case-studies below to see examples of the work we do and contact us to discuss how we can tailor a drumming workshop for you.

Youth Groups

Over the past few years, we have been involved in numerous youth engagement projects. These have been on either a one-off workshop basis, and on longer term funded projects.

We recieved 2 years of funding to run a youth junk percussion group. Throughout this project we created memorable opportunities for the young people such as building our own instruments, creating our own compositions, performing in the local community and watching professional performances. A particular highlight was watching the professional stage group Stomp! and taking the children backstage to meet the crew after the show!

We are currently working closely with Knightstone Housing Association in Bristol on engaging young people in Hartcliffe, with our regular Mowcroft Youth drumming and percussion group.

Get in touch to discuss how we can help you engage your target young people in a unique and meaningful way.
